We have a Crawler!!!

Little Boo has had quiet a week. In the past week, she has crawled (all over the house!), pulled up, patty caked and learned to feed herself cheerios! What a very big girl! She also had her first taste of yogurt of which she LOVED! The picture above was taken at her monthly playgroup today. The look on her face totally cracks me up! She was having a ball with all her little friends, even though her expression is so funny! I love getting to have a playgroup just for her. Since she is number two, I feel like she spends most of the time in her carseat shuttling SK to her activities or in the high chair feeding herself cereal and puffs while I cook or clean up. Poor second baby! I don't think the carseat or high chair has slowed her down at all. She is already crawling room to room, especially if she can hear me in another room, and pulling up on anything and everything. I know I have mommy amnesia, but I really don't think SK did so much so quickly. Boo is also LOVING bible class. She's been going for a couple of months and has the same teachers Sunday and Wednesday that Bug had for her first two years. A couple of weeks ago, one her teachers said it took SK almost the whole two years before she would talk or sing in class, but, AK is a whole other story. Two of her teachers have said if they are singing she is singing louder! Love it! She also has started 'patting' every book we have. We sing 'pat' the bible to her all the time and she just pats away!

Bug is full of 'two-ness'! She is really, really, really into dress up, especially if lip gloss is involved (see picture below!). She also loves playing school. She puts all her little baby dolls or zoo people in circle time and sings to them all the time. She already has a 'teacher voice' and doesn't mind using it when she feels the need. (That also includes using it on AK, her permanent 'student'!) I'm really shocked at how many songs she remembers from her little circle time at Mother's Day Out and all the little things the teachers say. I must seriously reconsider what I say to kids if I ever go back to teaching! :) It's just plain scary how even a 2 year old can repeat everything they hear! My favorite thing Bug is doing now is praying every time she hears a siren. About a month ago we had to pull over to allow a fire truck to pass on the road. When SK asked where they were going, I told her they were going to help people and we should ask God to keep everyone safe. Now, anytime she hears a siren, she will stop, bow her head and then say "I pwayed for the siwens Momma." Love that girl!
