A Snow Queen Day...

We finally had a good snow last night! Not as good as all our blog buddies in Dallas, but enough to actually play in! Adam and I had our monthly dinner night with friends in Nashville when the storm came through. Not that we weren't forewarned all day long on the news, we just really wanted our night out, so we went anyway! When we went into the restaurant (The Acorn in Nashville which we highly recommend) it was lightly raining with a little bit of sleet. When we came out the ground, roads, everything was covered. It took us 1.5 hours to drive what usually takes about 30 minutes. But, we had a great evening with our friends and had fun driving home at 30mph watching all the crazy drivers!

Here are Adam, SK and Zero after playing on the four wheeler in the snow. SK loved every minute of it!

Poor little AK, we bundled her up, took her outside and she started screaming.

SK came to my bed this morning announcing she was going to build a Snow Queen -not an ordinary snowman. So she and Adam built a tiny little snowman and we decorated it with a little tiara and feather boa! :)

Here's the Snow Queen up close.
