SK's Birthday - Part 1...

SK is turning 3 tomorrrow! So, we started the three day celebration with a family party at lunch today. SK is really, really into birthday's and the girl knows exactly what she wants for her celebrations! Right now she is into all things Princess, so, today was a pizza lunch with a Snow White cake.

The Snow White cake!
The Princess Castle pinata. So cool, no hitting involved. There were about 20 little ribbons that hung from the bottom. The kids took turns pulling one ribbon at a time to see which one opened the 'magic' door to let the candy out. So fun- it took us ALL 24 times to get the candy out! The best part is we can still keep the pinata. Boo was such a good sport to hold the pinata for all the kiddos. Unfortunately, it was raining outside, so we had to do everything inside.

I love SK's face in this picture. She's had a hard time learning to share this past year :), but she sat just like this the entire time we did the pinata and loved every minute of it.
Here's little ME taking her turn. All the cousins (& Jackson) got a turn, even the babies.
Woo-Hoo! There was so much candy! The big kids really understood the concept of getting all the candy that could fit into their treat bag. So fun!
The princess on her throne opening presents. Oh boy, this throne is ADORABLE!!! It came from the great T*rget sale of January. We never ever would've owned a $50 Barbie throne, BUT, a $14.99 Barbie throne is a whole other story! SK loves it! It comes with a ton of dressup jewelry that hooks into the throne and a dress and tutu. There is even a key that opens the seat up to store treasures. When cousin C saw the throne today she told me it was 'good.' So glad she liked it, b/c there is another in my closet waiting for her birthday!
SK blowing out her candles on the Snow White cake. So easy to make! The best part was getting to take the Snow White doll out to play with.
FINALLY, getting a piece of cake. She waiting 2 days for this!
Don't forget our littlest princess who also loved every minute. Notice the 'kiss' on her forehead. No, that is not lipstick. It's just another bruise where AK decided (this time) to jump out of her wagon head first. Look very closely at the top of AK's head. Not so bald anymore!!! Seriously, the little tuft of BLONDE hair has grown in nicely this week. It's almost time to 'bow' her up! Sweet little AK with candy in each hand and a 'pap' in her mouth. Life is good.
She really missed her friend Macie. She knew Macie would also like to sit on the throne. She can't wait to play with you tomorrow, sweet M!
