Rache's Wedding

Adam's cousin Rachel got married over the weekend at the very beautiful Belmont Mansion. Rachel was a beautiful bride! SK and AK had new 'party' dresses to wear and they were very excited about them. They didn't quiet understand the concept of being quiet while the ceremony was taking place, they were too distracted by all the family sitting around us! Sara knew Rachel would look like a princess and was very concerned that since she thought the Mansion was Cinderella's castle, the stepmother would also be there! ;) Silly girl! She and AK had played bride all week with hooded towels and Sara was mesmerized by Rachel in her 'bride' dress. We had forgotten to tell her about bridesmaids and she was a bit thrown off that her aunt Leslie and cousin Savannah were also in the wedding. She is in a bit of a questioning phase right now (to put it mildly!), and literally asked a billion questions after we left the ceremony!

I love the picture of the little girls watching Rachel get her picture made, and the attempts at a group shot and family picture. In the bottom picture, AK is watching very intently as Greyson jumps - which he is very, very good at! She would love to do it to!! Of course, with Sara and AK, cake was very important. They spied the cake the minute we walked in and waited very, very patiently for the cake to be cut, which brought on a whole new set of questions for Sara as to why the bride and groom have to feed each other cake! :)
