Friday Fun

It's been raining. a lot. This week SK found a stack of index cards and starting making letters to entertain herself since it was (of course) raining. She started on Wednesday and worked Thursday and Friday to get finished. Once she was finished, she asked me to cut her construction paper to glue her letters to. Below is her final product after she taped it to the wall....

SK's Alphabet wall

After she made the ABC's, it was still raining. So, she decided to set up a school...

Here are all her babies and one 'real' student. The chair in the back was for me to be the assistant. My job was to prepare snack.

First she sang a few songs. Then she read a few of her favorite Frog Street Press color and nursery rhyme books. She only had to discipline her 'real' student who became quiet unruly at times! :)

Then she did a handwriting lesson using a big line and little curve. (Her school does Handwriting without Tears - glad to know she pays attention).
Last, the girls had lunch and naptime.
Sweet girls. Sweet memories.
