At the end of each 9 weeks, the girls' school has an awards assembly. If the child is getting an award the parent receives a 'confidential' letter from the school before the assembly letting them know to be there. Both girls got a letter the first weeks!!! The night before I laid out clothes and told the girls they could not argue with me about their outfit or hairstyle the next day! Not that they EVER do that! HA! ;)
The morning of the assembly, I dropped the girls off an immediately parked. Adam also followed us to school and the girls never picked up on a thing! I couldn't believe they were so cooperative and clueless! This was Sara's face when she saw us in the gym! Since she has done this a time or two she knew when she saw lots of parents and Adam and I she was getting an award. AK gets overwhelmed in large crowds and never looked around or took her backpack off!
Sara received the Rocket Award for being the best all around example in her class for the 9 weeks!
AK received the character award for responsibility - for which she is - very responsible!
