Your 9 month appt is not for 2 more weeks but lets just say that the last time we were at the doctor your height and weight were FAR off the charts for your age.
Right now....
•You crawl fast and everywhere! You've crawled since you were 6 months and 2 weeks. This week I found you 'helping' AK go potty. Gross ;)
•You can pull up easy and will cruise along furniture and even reach and walk to another piece of furniture. Tonight you stood alone for a bit then squatted and sat down.
•You drink 4 bottles a day. After several months on soy you are good to go on regular similac. The constant congestion you've had is not from milk but environment.
•You are a great eater! You closed your mouth to baby food from a jar and gagged on the jar main courses at 7 1/2 months so you are a finger food queen. You usually eat apple cinnamon oatmeal for breakfast, fruit and veggies for lunch and fruit, veggies, and either meat sticks or cheese toast for dinner. You love: bananas, applesauce, cheese toast, meat sticks, sweet potato tots, mixed veggies cooked in broth, green beans, cereal bars (apple cinnamon only), whole wheat pasta, and yogurt. You will drink from a sippy but don't love water, yet.
•You adore Sara and Anna Kate! Tonight you stood between their chairs while they ate dinner just to be close to them. You love to play in their room too. Especially with the bitty baby toys.
•You can wave bye-bye and patty cake. You love to say HIIIIII.
•You looked right at daddy and called him dada about a week ago. You love to jabber saying mamama, dadadada, gagaga, bababa. You are really loud and like to be heard :)
•You love to play in the grass! You will reach to get down anytime we go outside.
•Your favorite toys are my keys and the girls' Bitty Babies. You told me you would love a bitty for christmas ;)
•You love Sunday School! You have grown to love Bible class on Wednesday nights, but it's bedtime. And that's hard! You are my first one that the nursery workers have ever had to come and get me because you were unhappy. Now, you love it. You ALWAYS bury your head in my shoulder and act shy when we walk into the nursery but it's totally an act :). You will 'pat' any book so I know you are soaking up Bible class!
•You got your first tooth 2 weeks ago and a second one last week. We've been calling you Two Tooth Charkey!
The pictures below are of you taking a sink bath (I can't contain you in the big tub), sitting with your friend (and cousin) Alyssa in bible class (you're also dressed alike :)), and hanging in your stroller (where you may or may not spend most of your life between volunteering in preschool and big school, gymnastics, cheerleading and daisy scouts).
