It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas in Tennessee! SK's social calendar is full of lots of playdates, parties and her first Christmas program. Last weekend we had our first holiday event and took the Polar Express Train ride with our friends 'Auntie' Judy and Lexi. if you live in our area, this is definitely worth every penny! The girls loved the train and all the surprises that were in store while on board.
Here's a pic of SK our dog Zero. Z was missing for 2 1/2 weeks and we found him on Sunday. Bug LOVES Z and has been very happy to have him home!
ALL ABOARD!!!Every child got a jingle bell, ticket and yellow ticket for hot chocolate as
they boarded.
Here comes Santa Claus! He came through our car twice on the ride.
Santa's elves brought a treat bag for every girl and boy.
Our seats were in an old dining car. We loved being able to sit at a table. The girls had lots of room to play and have snacks.
The train stopped for a little while at a festival in Lebanon. There was a large parking lot full of huge inflatable bouncers that were FREE! The girls had a blast! (Thank you Lexi for the matching PJ's! We love them!)
Woo-hoo SK was not afraid of this Santa! She was terrified of the one on the train! She even told him what she wanted for Christmas - lip gloss and band-aids! Love that girl, she's so easy to shop for! Right after we took pics with Santa, Jane called to tell us Baby Hudson was going to be born. I'll never forgot that phone call! :)
After our excursion, a train conductor came to our car and read the story of the Polar Express.
Then he punched every child's ticket before our ride was over.
