Fall Festival Pumpkins

The girls' school is having their Fall Festival this weekend.  One of the events is pumpkin decorating.  The girls spent a large part of yesterday afternoon decorating pumpkins we got on AKs field trip to a pumpkin patch.  They glittered and painted and glittered and painted some more while Charley napped. They were off from school for parent/teacher conferences so we had the whole day to play!  They had SO much fun decorating and their finished products are ADORABLE!  In the middle of the glitter/paint marathon we got a call to show our house.  So we cleaned everything up and left the pumpkins out as decorations!

Ready to decorate. Sara, especially, LOVES to do anything creative.

 AKs adorable glitter witch creation!
Complete with the stem painted yellow for the nose and a big green wart!  The hat is a recycled art project from pre-k.
***AK's pumpkin won FIRST place in her class!!!

Sara's super princess pumpkin!
Sara worked SO, SO hard on details!  Her pumpkin has earrings and makeup and curly hair with a handmade barrett in the back.
